“Help Jamaica Rebuild” Join Us in this Relief Initiative

We hope this message finds you well. We (JOVICSS) are launching our “Help Jamaica Rebuild” Relief Initiative, beginning this Saturday, November 29, at Bluebird Storage - Quadra. We are truly grateful to Bluebird Storage for generously providing two months of free storage to support this humanitarian effort.

Date: Saturday, Nov 29, 2025

Time: 10am to 3pm

Location: Bluebird Self Storage, 2120 Quadra Street

(Entrance on Princess Street)

This initiative will be ongoing, and we welcome all donations—no amount is too big or too small. At this time, we are focusing on collecting:

  • Seniors (non-perishable food, hygiene items, mobility aids, bedding, etc.)

  • Children (school supplies, hygiene items, diapers, formula, toys, etc.)

  • Hurricane Aid Supplies (tarps, nails, tools, flashlights, batteries, etc.)

If you wish to donate gently used items, we kindly ask that items be washed, folded, and neatly packagedfrom pet-free homes to ensure the best possible quality for families receiving them.

As the weeks progress, we will update you on additional outreach locations across the island. Please help us spread the word—our country truly needs us right now.

We are grateful to have partnered with the Church of God of Prophecy, Victoria BC, whose partner churches in Jamaica will receive and help distribute the items directly to communities in need on our behalf.

Financial Support Needed – “It Takes Cash to Care”

To ship these donations to Jamaica, we must cover ferry fares and freight costs. To support this, we have created a GoFundMe to assist with logistics, and we kindly ask you to donate if you’re able:

If you would like to assist financially, or if you prefer to donate bottles and cans, we are happy to accept them—"every mickle mek a muckle," " Every donation adds up".
