Welcome to Jamaicans on Vancouver Island Canadian Services Society (JOVICSS), a vibrant community organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating Jamaican culture while fostering a sense of unity among Jamaicans and friends of Jamaica across Vancouver Island.
Founded with a mission to support and enrich the lives of Jamaicans in Canada, we serve as a hub for cultural exchange, community outreach, and social connection. Our society brings together individuals of Jamaican heritage and others who appreciate the richness of Jamaica’s history, traditions, and contributions to Canadian society.
